Chicago’s finest, Shellac, composed of Steve Albini (guitar + vocals), Bob Weston (bass + vocals) & Todd Trainer (drums + vocals), came and tore the Button a factory a new one last night. An incredible evening of precision rock. To my shame this was the first time I have ever seen them live, but it will not be my last, if I can do anything about it…

Unfortunately I missed the support act, M(h)aol…but from what I heard from those who saw them their upcoming debut album is one to look forward to.
