Looking east along Grand Canal Place towards the fortress-like Market Street Storehouse, 1904 by A. H. Hignett + Sir William Arrol. It was the first example of multi-storey steel framing in Ireland. From 1996 to 2000 this building was remodelled as the Guinness Storehouse by Robinson, Keefe + Devane, Imagination and Ove Arup + Partners, which included the addition of the circular Gravity Bar at the roof level, which offers some of the most spectacular views over the city
