Dingle Harbour
This was the calmest night I think I have ever been out in...appropriately on my last night away in the south west. Welcome calm to steel me for my return to the city and the things to be done.
I'll remember this evening...it was amazing down there at the harbour, watching the clouds pouring slowly down the mountainside.
Behind me were lads racing currachs. They emerged from the darkness of the Harbour, announcing themselves with clanking oars. The boat swooshed through the still water, right by me. Pulling like dogs, every one of them...some sight.
